Corning Digital Display Pyroceram Hot Plates
These Corning® Digital Display Pyroceram Hot Plates feature a digital, easy-to-read LED that indicates temperature—ideal for labs that need to establish routine protocols. Microprocessor-controlled feedback technology maintains consistent repeatable temperature settings.
The flat, bright-white Pyroceram® brand glass ceramic top provides uniform heating and better contrast during applications that monitor color changes. Easy-to-clean tops are highly resistant to scratches, corrosion, and chemicals. The housing features an external spill trough to deflect spills away from electronics and control knobs. Enclosed and sealed electronics protect sensitive components from harsh environments.
These models include a digital temperature display adjustable in 5 degree increments that indicates when the set temperature has been achieved. A bright LED icon for POWER and HOT TOP lights up when top plate is above 60°C, even when heat control has been turned off. Separate temperature sensor provides power cut-off if unit overheats. Top-quality insulation keeps heat on top and away from controls and the benchtop.
All units include a built-in mount that accepts a standard support rod for a thermometer, electrode, or buret; and a guide to heating procedures. All models are UL-listed.
