Corning Media Bottle Caps come in a variety of styles and sizes to fit the Corning PYREX Media Bottles:

Corning gray polypropylene vented caps have a 0.22µm polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) hydrophobic membrane to allow sterile gas exchange while preventing contamination. They are autoclavable at 121°C, have a GL45 thread and use a linerless plug seal design for efficient sealing.

The Corning polypropylene screw caps are autoclavable at 121°C, use a linerless plug seal design for efficient sealing, and are available in orange, purple, light gray, or green colors.

Red Corning open top polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) high temperature caps have a GL45 thread and are designed to be used with pierceable silicone septa (sold separately). They can be dry heat sterilized at up to 180°C.

The Corning ethylene tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) pouring rings fit on the lips of PYREX® media bottles with GL45 threads for drip-free pouring and can be dry heat sterilized at up to 180°C.

The Corning polypropylene pouring rings fit on the lips of PYREX® media bottles with GL45 threads for drip-free pouring and are autoclavable at 121°C.
