Kimax Melting Point Capillary Tubes
Kimble Chase Kimax Melting Point Capillary Tubes are made of borosilicate glass since soda lime glass is not recommended for this work. A partial immersion thermometer, calibrated for 75mm, is specified in most melting point determination methods.
Choose from 90mm tubes with one open end and one sealed end, and 100mm tubes with both ends open. A tube of each length features a smaller inner diameter to meet USP requirements.
Key Features
- Long length tubes extend above bath surface to keep liquids out
- Smaller ID thickness tubes meet USP requirements
