Nalgene Chemical-Resistant Syringe Filters

Thermo Scientific Nalgene Chemical-Resistant Syringe Filters These polypropylene syringe filters are resistant to a wide range of chemicals, making them ideal for a number of filtration applications. Their membranes are supported on both sides, for use in vacuum or pressure filtration.

Filters featuring Nylon membranes are nontoxic, Triton-free and naturally hydrophilic with low extractables. These filters are for use with slip-fit and locking-type Luer syringes and accept standard hypodermic needles. Suitable for sterilizing cryoprotectants, including DMSO, and with aqueous/biological and nonaqueous/HPLC/GC solvent applications. Also for culture media and additives (SFCA), buffers (CA) and alcohol or DMSO (Nylon). Autoclavable. The sterile versions are non-cytotoxic and non-pyrogenic.

Filters featuring PTFE membranes are nontoxic, Triton-free and naturally hydrophobic. These filters are for use with slip-fit and locking-type Luer syringes. Ideal for sterile venting of air or other gases during filtration and also for HPLC/GC solvent filtration. Autoclavable.

Choose from three filter sizes: 4mm filters can accommodate sample volumes of 0.5 to 1.0mL; 13mm filters can accommodate sample volumes of 2 to 10mL; and 25mm filters can accommodate sample volumes of 10 to 50mL.

Key Features

  • Membranes are integrally sealed within housing to eliminate bypass and minimize fluid loss
  • Equipped with a female Luer-Lok® inlet and male Luer slip outlet for compatibility
