Nalgene Slant Tube Racks
Thermo Scientific Nalgene Slant Tube Racks are made with a polycarbonate frame for increased durability. These racks can be autoclaved. Autoclaving results in some reduction in strength over time. Racks are stackable for easy storage.
Thanks to the end plate design, users can set the rack down at either a 5° or 20° slant. (The rack can be set down on either side at either angle. Racks come keyed with numbers and letters for easy identification. They are not designed to be floated in water baths.
After autoclaving tubes of media, the user can set the rack on a bench at a desired angle. This should be performed while the media is still hot. Hardened media with a constant slant will be achieved. Slant Tube Racks are also ideal for incubating liquid cultures on a slant.
