Thermo Scientific Nalgene Unwire Test Tube Half Size Racks are ideal for use in incubators, refrigerators, freezers, under lab hoods, and on bench tops. They fit easily in ice or water baths. They will not float. They are far more space-efficient than full-sized racks and they are molded in six bright colors to help keep samples organized. They combine all the features of our full sized Unwire racks, but occupy half the space.

These racks are repeatedly autoclavable. Their smooth finish leaves fewer places for contaminants to lodge and there are no welds to break and no sharp edges. Endplates accept large labels. They have a higher specific gravity than water so they stay submerged in a water bath. They withstand most lab chemicals and temperatures up to 121°C for a variety of lab procedures. 15mL conical tubes fit 20mm racks and 50ml conical fit 30mm racks. No assembly is required.
