Wheaton Standard Media Bottles
Wheaton Standard Media Bottles are made of borosilicate glass that conforms to USP Type requirements and has a low alkali content to help prevent changes in pH to maintain the purity of its contents. Our selection includes media bottles with a 33mm neck size (38mm for the 1 Liter size), which are available with or without caps. In addition, there are a variety of liners for the black phenolic caps available, including rubber, PTFE-faced rubber, or low density polyethylene. Choose rubber-lined caps for culture media and the LDPE liner for distilled water, analytical standards, and reagents. The PTFE resin-lined cap is chemical resistant.
1L bottles feature hand grips for easier handling. All Wheaton media bottles with caps feature sloping shoulders to facilitate pouring and utilize pour rings to eliminate dripping. All bottles, caps, and liners are autoclavable.
